Julia-roberts

Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on October 28, 1967 in Atlanta. Roberts is part of four generations of the Robertses who reside in the Atlanta region, beginning by her grandfather John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. In the early years of his life the father of her mother became obsessed by acting. When he was in school at Emory University in 1952 he performed in shows on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. He joined the military in 1953. While working in Biloxi Mississippi was cast in the military's production, which featured Betty Lou Bredemus who was part of the air force. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in 1957. Walter along with his wife left their Air Force service in the year 1957, when they enrolled Walter at Tulane University. Walter was recruited by Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio to work on the set of the show Bum Bum and His Buddies. The show was filmed in Decatur Georgia. Walter and Betty Lou started production in 1964 for the children's local Saturday morning show on television called Bum Bum and His Buddies and their Buddies, which they both funded. Later that year they founded The Actors and Writers Workshop which ran for a period of six years. The couple had another two children, Lelisa Billingsley (1965) (also named Lisa) as well as Julia Billingsley (1967) (also known by the name Julie).
