Andrea Jeremiah
Andrea Maria Jeremiah, an Indian performer and actress well-known for her performance in Tamil and Malayalam films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam debut was with Annayum's Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah was raised in the Tamil Nadu region in an Anglo-Indian family. Andrea's dad was an Madras High Court lawyer. She also has a younger sister, who works as a research assistant in Leuven Belgium. Jeremiah was born in Chennai and attended National Public School and graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea was a young classical musician who was an avid geek. Young Stars is a Jackson Five kind of group which she joined at the age 10 and was the beginning of her singing and music career. While at college she also was a theater artist and performed in stage plays organized through The Madras Players. Andrea was president of the Student Senate at Women's Christian College. Andrea started performing as an infant actor in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. She starred with Shiva as part of a advertisement for coffee in the year 2006. Also, she was a part of the serial that was broadcast on Podhigai channel. She performed throughout India. She had a small role in the Kanda Mudhal finale (2005). Gautham V. Menon contacted her following the fact that she had performed in the film Vettaiyaadu, to perform as the lead female character for Pachaikili Muthucharam. Andrea performed the role of Kalyani who is a homewife who's husband is involved in an affair. She was targeted for blackmail. Andrea won the role of Kalyani following Simran Shobana Tabu and others were offered the role. It was first released in early 2010. Her minor role was accepted as part of Venkat's Mankatha in 2011 that starred several actors. Her Malayalam film debut with Rajeeev Rathi's Annayum Rasoolum in 2013.
