Niykee is a song-writer who, despite her recent whirlwind career has maintained her routine. Some of her personal highlights included her being picked by Snoop dogg as his sidekick during the YouTube Brandcast event in May 2013. A producer magnet Niykee constantly sifts through beats being sent to her. The majority beats spark fresh music ideas. Within five seconds, I'm able to tell the quality of a song or not. I then get an idea of the song and write the lyrics immediately. Niykee's pain in the past provides an endless source of motivation. It's tough to forget memories that are painful from my early years, particularly losing my younger sister. These memories are integrated into her music. This shapes my music and adds a greater sense of meaning that I believe is crucial.
