Katherine Jean Bolduan (also known professionally as Kate Bolduan) is an American journalist for the broadcast industry. Her most famous role is anchorwoman for CNN's morning program At This Hour. Bolduan was previously a co-host for the CNN Monday Morning Programs New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan contributed to CNN's coverage of both the 2016 and 2012 presidential elections. Her previous experience includes working as an Washington DC based correspondent, reporting on each of the US House and Senate. Bolduan was a reporter for legislative and congressional events, such as discussions on raising the federal debt ceiling and the super committee's discussions. As an assignment reporter for general assignments, she has covered stories including the Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. In 2007, she became a part of CNN as a correspondent national with CNN Newsource. She was a CNN Newsource national correspondent, offering breaking news and feature reporting to more than 800 CNN Newsource affiliated stations.
